Welcome !

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 121.

Greenwood lake Troop121 was formed in 1933 by Wilbur Christman. We have had a number of scout masters since then and have held meetings in some strange places. Troop 121 is currently sponsored by the Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge 2067. Our meeting place has changed over the years to keep pace with our growth. Our troop presently meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at the Greenwood Lake American Legion. Meetings are not held during school holidays or cancellations. We ask that you drop off and pick up your son on time from meetings. Troop 121 has had a great history of providing a lot of service to the community and a great program for the scout age boys that have joined our troop. We currently have a broad range of ages registered and a large cross section of leadership that help provides a robust and varied program for the Scouts. As much as possible we run a boy run troop providing leadership experience for the scouts.

Friends of Troop 121 Fundraising Dinner

Posted on Feb 15 2017 - 1:20pm

The Troop is asking for help in soliciting items for the tricky tray raffles we will be having at the March 25th (1st Annual) Friends of Troop 121 Fundraising dinner at the Greenwood Lake ELKS Lodge. If everyone could try to reach out to their employers or businesses they think might be willing to donate something to be raffled off it would be a much-needed help. Anything from baskets of cheer, gift cards and certificates for services, handmade crafts etc... Anything you might think would be a good raffle item. The raffles at the dinner will be an integral part of the fundraising. The more funds we can raise at the dinner will only enable us to further advance our boys Scouting experience, through the purchase of needed equipment and gear as well as hopefully being able to lower the cost to our parents/guardians for some of the many adventures we are planning on.
